      Mr. Jon Richards, General Manager, has promoted Guruh Nugraha to Sous Chef & Togu Sahat to Wine Captain of RIVA French Restaurant.

      These promotions are based on their consistency & excellent service they have contributed to the restaurant.

      Guruh’s French cuisine experience dates back to 2006 and this January he represented Indonesia at the final of the Bocuse d’Or World culinary championship in Lyon, France.

      It was the first time for Indonesia to qualify and compete against 23 other countries from around the world.

      Guruh now can be classified as a “World Class Chef”. His passion and commitment have given Riva a very positive image and contributed to the restaurant’s success.

      Sahat’s passion in wine was noticed from the time he first joined RIVA in 2008. He is a knowledgeable & trained wine professional who will assist & suggest our RIVA clients for food & wine pairings.

      Sahat recently joined and became one of the finalists at the Sommelier competition at Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival 2011 at Kelapa Gading.

      Under the helm of Chef de cuisine, Renaud le Rasle, these appointments will further strengthen Riva’s reputation as the leading French restaurant in Jakarta.
