Mantan pegulat profesional yang kondang, Randy "The Ram" Robinson mencari nafkah dengan tampil di hadapan maniak gulat profesional di aula sekolah-sekolah dan gedung pertemuan warga.

Ketika ia terkena serangan jantung, dokter menasehatinya untuk berhenti memakai steroid dan berhenti bergulat.

Terbuang dari dunia pertunjukan, Randy berusaha membenahi hidupnya. Ia berusaha memperbaiki hubungannya dengan anak perempuannya dan menjalin asmara dengan Pam, seorang penari telanjang yang sudah mulai tua.

Untuk sejenak semuanya seperti berjalan lancar. Tapi godaan untuk tampil masih sangat kuat, dan Randy sekali lagi berusaha untuk bisa kembali ke arena gulat.
