In Jakarta, OUTBACK Steakhouse located in very prime location such as Pondok Indah Mall 1 & Ratu Plaza in Jakarta, and they open other stores in Singapore, Bangkok & Kuala Lumpur.

Historically, with over 800 outlets in the world, OUTBACK Steakhouse is actually an American outlet with an Australian theme. At OUTBACK, the walls are festooned with boomerangs, Aboriginal art prints, travel posters, kangaroos, wallabies and koalas, images evocative of the great Australian OUTBACK.

The concept of the restaurant was inspired by the hit movie, Crocodile Dundee. It is a friendly, casual and relaxing place embodying the spirit of the Australian OUTBACK with the bold flavorful food, excellent service and attentive staff.

On the OUTBACK menu, appetizers are called Aussie-Tizers® and OUTBACK's signature dish, the "Typhoon Bloom" which is an all time favorite starter. As a steakhouse, OUTBACK prides itself on its high quality steak and offers it seasoned and seared to perfection. American-sized steaks are flat grilled just like they do in Australia during a "Barbie"... grilled on the outside, a little red and juicy on the inside.
Beside steaks, "Must tries" are also known for Aussie Cheese Fries, Outback Sirloin, Prime Minister's Prime Rib, Alice Springs Chicken, Ribs and Chicken On the Barbie, seafood and pasta among many more amusing names. Finally, do not leave until you have tried the delectably sinful "Chocolate Thunder From Down Under" which is freshly – baked pecan brownie, topped with rich vanilla ice cream, hot homemade chocolate sauce and chocolate shavings. This is a "must-try" for "Chockie" lovers.
Another must-try is The Mango Darn, which is Down Under frozen wonder with Mango nectar and secret mixers. This is so good that even the "non-alkies" (Australian word meaning non-alcoholics) will want to come back for more! Outback Steakhouse South East Asia features a menu of juicy Australian "Choice" Grain Fed Beef steaks, grilled chicken, fish, the signature Typhoon Bloom, plus drinks, salads and desserts. In Indonesia, Outback has created a number of new menu items to celebrate the big bold flavors that Outback is known for and to offer a variety of fresh new flavors for customers.

This season, Outback invites everyone to slow down, make it an Aussie, and enjoy the new:

• Stingray Wings, fresh chicken drumettes, coated in Campfire sauce, served with ranch dressing
• New York Striploin, a 12 Oz top quality cut of Striploin seasoned and seared
• Campfire Salmon, fillet seasoned and grilled, glazed in our spicy Tabasco butter and served with steamed veggies
• Pasta Primavera, fresh steamed veggies over fettuccine pasta in a light Alfredo sauce
• Chicken and Spinach Marinara, sliced of chicken breast, sauteed in fresh garlic, basil and baby spinach, tossed with spaghetti pasta and rich homemade tomato sauce. Top with aged parmesan shreds
• Swiss Mushroom Burger, sauteed mushroom and Swiss Cheese, served on a toasted bun, with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles
• Choco Choco Cookie, a warm, soft, homemade chocolate Chip Cookie, topped with vanilla ice cream and Chocolate sauce
• Clam Chowder, creamy chowder loaded with clams, bacon and potatoes

Kemaren gue coba makan disini utk pertama kalinya. Akhirnya gue nemuin perfect steak yg selama ini gue cari2. Rib-eye nya top-notch euy! Big, tender & juicy.
Memang resto ini ngga main2 soal kualitas daging yg dipakai. Harganya emang lumayan, tapi percaya deh they know what they're doing!
Oya atmosfirnya laid back, cukup cozy dan pelayanannya friendly & atentif.
Looking forward to my next visit!

Suasana, gue sukaan yang di Ratu Plaza. Tapi kalo sendirian, sambil bengong, boleh sambil liat orang2 yang berenang di kolam renang pondok indah di sebelahnya (dan ngelihatin orang berenang pake T-shirt & celana senam) :-)
